We are reaching out to churches across the world looking to partner with us in prayer, in mission and online, helping to bring about hope and transformation to a largely forgotten group of people.
Our chaplains offer a hand of friendship, a listening ear, communication with loved ones back home and spiritual support to the seafarers they meet every day. They talk and pray together and hand out Bibles helping to ensure seafarers who sacrifice so much for all of us feel valued.
We have a number of ministers and entertaining speakers who would be delighted to come and speak to your congregations about our ministry and how we have supported those in need for almost 200 years. Please simply get in touch.
Our Messengers of Hope appeal allows churches to support the very heart beat of our ministry, our chaplaincy team. We call our chaplains ‘Messengers of Hope’. Based in ports around the world, they provide a lifeline to seafarers regardless of their religion, race or rank.
Church Connect is a simple partnership between you and us. Find out more today. We have a number of quality resources including our prayer diary, children’s activity sheets, videos about our work and projects overseas and Sea Sunday packs.
